Basketball Championship

The Federal Ministry of Education beat Ministry of Defence
43 – 36 in the final of the on-going Federation of Public Servants Games in
Jos, the Plateau State Capital, Nigeria.
The final which ended today 6pm Friday December 2nd, 2016, witnessed
display of talents by both teams as spectators were highly entertained.
Speaking to journalists immediately after the game, the
chief coach Ministry of Education, Tajudeen Ali expressed happiness over his
team’s performance, adding that their success was owned to the their ability to
abide by instructions. He called on government to improve on sporting facilities
across the country to attract more people into sports.
HANDBALL
In the handball category, the Ministry of Education was
however unlucky as they lost 4 – 9 to Ministry of Trade & Investment. The
tournament which started about a week ago would be rounded up tomorrow 3rd
of December, 2016.
