Mikang State constituency: Krinbut, PDP open case at Tribunal, tender 13 documents

Hon.Theophilus N Krinbut ,Peoples Democratic Party who are  Petitioners at the National and state Assembly Tribunal sitting at High Court 3 Jos opened their case on Monday, tendered 13 documents and called 4 witnesses .

Theophilus and PDP are challenging the declaration of Hon Jonathan Daniel Naanlong of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) as the winner of February 26 House Assembly election in Mikang state constituency of Plateau state.
When the case filed was called, counsel to petitioners, J.M OKafor tendered the 13 documents and subject to objections of the documents by the respondents counsels in their final addresses they were admitted in evidence as  follows:

1 Duplicate copies of Form EC8A for Panshot polling unit (PU) code 001.
2 Duplicate copies of EC8A for Zamkoekop code 003
3: Duplicate copies of EC8A for Market square (PU) code 003
4  Duplicate copies of EC8A for EALTi (PU) code 001
5:  Duplicate copies of EC8A for Zomo Primary Health care center (PU) .
6:  Duplicate copies of EC8A for Zomo primary school (PU)
7  Duplicate copies of EC8A for lifidi  PU code 001 .
8  Duplicate copies of EC8E(1) for Mikangste constituency .
9 .Certified True Copies (CTC) of form EC8A for Angwan Hausawa 1 code 006
10 CTC of form EC8A for Lalin primary school 1 code 005
11 CTC of form EC8A  1 (VP) for angwan Hausawa 2 code 007 .
12 CTC of form   EC8A  Angwan Hausawa code 002 .
13 CTC of form EC8E(1) for Mikang state constituency .

All documents were marked as exhibits P1-P13 respectively.
Thereafter,  the petitioners called 4 witnesses namely; Pelang Caleb Ziryep (PW1) Amos Danladi Nishi (PW2)Warka Donatus (PW3) and Silvanus Kwanpan (PW4)
All the witnesses testified on documents bordering on over voting and mutilation of results and were equally cross examined by counsels to the respondents.

The petition was adjourned to July 19 and 20 for continuation f hearing.
