Lalong Mourns Abdullahi Wase, Ambassador of
Nigeria to the State of Qatar

Governor
Simon Lalong of Plateau state has condoled with President Mohammadu Buhari
over the demise of H. E. Dr. Haruna Bawa Abdullahi Wase, the
Nigerian Ambassador to Qatar.
A statement
by the state Commissioner of Information and Communication, Yakubu Dati stated
that the Governor who was speaking in Shendam, described the deceased as an
illustrious son of Plateau State, regretting that he passed on at a
crucial time when his peace advocacy was most needed.
According to the statement, Governor Lalong further
expressed his condolences to the people of the State, Wase emirate council, the
diplomatic community and indeed the immediate family, praying that the
Almighty God grants the deceased aljanna firdaus.
Dr. Abdullahi
was appointed in 2016 by President Buhari as a non-career Ambassador.
