HARUNA MAITALA INAUGURATES DIRECTORATE, COMMITTEES

Hon.
Haruna Maitala, an aspirant for the House of Representatives Jos North/ Bassa
Federal Constituency has inaugurated his campaign directorates and series of
committees that would work toward achieving his aspiration.
Speaking
during the inauguration at his campaign office along Murtala Mohammed way Jos,
Maitala urged them to work in harmony and unity of purpose to ensure success
during g the primary and secondary elections respectively. “This job requires
that we unite and work together to ensure our success during the elections to
enable us offer better representation for the progress and development of Jos
North/ Bassa irrespective of ethnic or religious affiliation. This arrangement
is for the primary election, when God gives us victory we shall return to this
place to celebrate and re-strategies and perfect ways of winning the main
election.” Said Maitala.
The aspirant assured that he will give his
constituency a purposeful, people oriented representation, stating that when
given the mandate, he would involve stakeholders in all his activities in order
to deliver the dividends of democracy to the constituents.

He
called on members of the directorate to exercise patience and show high level
of maturity in the conducts even in the event of misunderstanding.
Maitala
further advised delegates to be wise in electing who to represent the
constituency at the National Assembly taking into account that constituents
have not had good representation in the last eight years.
Earlier
in his speech, the Director- General of the campaign Organization, Hon.
Mustapha Idris promised to give their best to ensure the success of the
projects. There were goodwill messages from representatives of Igbo, Yoruba and
other ethnic communities in Jos and Bassa. High point of the event was the
presentation of appointment letters to members of the committees.
