The behavioural deficiencies and stagnations in the public conduct of Hon Yusuf Gagdi are certainly in the overflow in recent times. Those who study behavioural sciences view this as an anomalous condition of the mind which could derive from some form of psychopathic maladjustment generated by unrestrained enthusiasm, or unguided and bad upbringing capable mostly of people with a background of street urchins who attend adulthood without formal conditioning, or any of them about to edge the border of sanity and go amok.

Propelled by this weird state of the mind, Hon Yusuf Gagdi has been confusing semblances with reality. Without realizing that he has exhausted his good will and gamut in politics, this House of Reps member has been conducting himself like a demented hen in search of itself and in want of direction.
For him, habitually dropping the name of the State Governor, His Excellency, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, is the most impressive and cherished conduct to impress the Ngas and continue his self- serving strangle hold on to the House of Reps position of the PKK federal constituency.
Although he manipulated the Ngas nation to lose all political chances in the last general elections, he must realize that the Ngas are a cultured people with respect for one another and their elders, and would not embrace or encourage a denigration of cultural values by a misfitting champion of the Ngas patrimony..
The conduct and utterances of Hon Yusuf Gagdi during the recent Pusdung cultural celebration in Pankshin revealed an ambitious and desperate misbegotten politician and his foolhardy thought that he can fool all the people all the time. This is as utopian as the truth is cast in stone that His Excellency, Caleb Mutfwang is the Governor of Plateau State.
It takes the indecency and indiscretion of a man bereft of candour and honour to think constantly dropping the name of the Governor in public functions can assuage and ventilate the pain of electoral defeat which celebration is still reverberating. No matter the pettiness and primitive conduct cuddled and exhibited by Yusuf Gagdi against the status of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the latter remains the preferred and elected Governor of Plateau State.
It is this lack of exposure and broad-mindedness lacking in Yusuf Gagdi that blots him from the realization that he cannot diminish the office of the Governor of Plateau State in the name casting slurs on Governor Caleb Mutfwang, and attempting to stand up to him for sociopolitical pedigree and mileage.
It is curious that Yusuf Gagdi thinks he has conquered the Ngas people; or that he can annex the rest of Plateau State. If Gagdi lacks the emotions of self restraint and self control, a volunteer should rise to his rescue before unbridled enthusiasm and scaffold ambition degenerate into a seeming career of public misconduct and enthusiasm gone amok.
