PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Following the composition and inauguration of the Task Force on the Recovery of Purported Auctioned Government Property, and in strict compliance with the terms of reference, the Task Force hereby requests the general public to understand the importance of this assignment and assist the Task Force in the following manner:

i. Volunteer information on Individuals/ Organisations in possession of government property, moveable or immoveable.

ii. Volunteer information from individuals/organisations in custody of government property, moveable or immoveable and to provide evidence of boarding of such property for proper valuation and documentation.

This exercise is not in any way in conflict with the Executive Governor's pronouncement that his administration is not out to witch-hunt anyone or any organisation, but to engender appropriate protocols of accountability for the overall interest of the people of Plateau State.

Furthermore, anyone in possession of boarded or auctioned government property is advised to kindly stop any form of development on such property pending the completion of this exercise. Please be assured again that this exercise is for the benefit of the allottees in particular and the state at large.
