Expect digital 10th Plateau Assembly, says Agbalak, Member-Elect Irigwe/Rukuba State Constituency

The Member-Elect, Irigwe/Rukuba State Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Agbalak has said that the people of Plateau should expect a robust and people oriented 10th state Assembly.

Agbalak who made this submission in an exclusive chat with AfricanDrum recently, added that the Plateau 10th Assembly would bring a lot of innovations aimed at moving Plateau to greater heights.

"The 10th Plateau Assembly would bring a lot of innovations that would help Plateau State."

Agbalak revealed that he had three proposed Bills he intended to present to the House upon inauguration.

He said the first proposed Bill is called; Plateau Security Trust Fund. According to the Member-Elect, the Bill seeks to create a Fund for the Vigilantes and Neighborhood Watch so as to motivate them.

The second proposed Bill is called, ICT Trust Fund aimed at raising funds for ICT for secondary schools only.

The third is called; A Bill for the Establishment of ICT International Institute For Plateau State. Agbalak stated that when passed into law, the Bill seeks to concentrate more on professional courses on ICT noting that it would also help the youths to get employed. "The essence is that, with a professional certificate, you don't need to go University before you get a good job", he said.

Speaking on how Gov. Caleb Mutfwang would run the state taking into cognizance that the debt profile of the state has gone above N200billion, Hon. Agbalak said, "A good leader is creative and comes with lots of innovations and I know Gov. Mutfwang to be one.

"Therefore, I am positive that Mutfwang being an innovative leader would turn things around. Sometimes you may think some ministries are redundant but a good leader makes them active through innovations.

"I also believe the Governor would partner effectively with the private sector in other to boost the economy of the state", Hon. Ibrahim Agbalak said.
