Tarok Progressive Youth Association President condemns the
gruesome murder of Ropvil Dapel.

The National President of Tarok Progressive Association ( TAPYA), Comrade Lohnan Samson Jor has condemned in the strongest
term the gruesome murder of a 200 level Biology Education student of the
University of Maiduguri, Mr. Ropvil Daciya Dapel by the Boko Haram sect last
week.
The 22 old Dapel,
an indigene of Plateau state was said to have been abducted by members of the
sect on his way to Maiduguri and was seen in a video (trending in the social
media) being murdered in a barbaric manner. In a statement, Comrade Jor said he
was deeply touched and saddened by the ungodly act and further described the
barbaric killing as man's inhumanity to man. He said the incident was a
reminder of the threat Boko Haram sect posed to national security.
Consequently, the
TAPYA President conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased
and prayed God to comfort its members in a special way.
Lohnan Jor
further called on the government and the security agents to rise up to the
challenge by doing the needful and provide adequate protection to lives and
property so as to instilled confidence in the citizenry. He lamented the way
and manner some people have constituted themselves into bands of terrorists
leaving tales of woes across the country and the authority appeared to be
helpless in the face of the onslaught.
