Plateau Guber Tribunal: Supreme Court
overrules Court of Appeal on Petitioners Witness.

The Supreme Court of Nigeria in a
full court this morning granted the prayers of the Legal Team for PDP and its
Governorship candidate in the 2019 general elections, Gen. Senator Jeremiah
Useni.
The Legal Team had challenged the
judgment of the Court of Appeal Jos which overruled the decision of the lower
Tribunal allowing Petitioners witness who was not listed in the Petition to
testify during the trial. The Supreme Court also dismissed the preliminary
objections raised by Lalong and APC.This judgment is to be served on the 3-man
Tribunal before they deliver their final judgment on or before the 9th of
October, 2019.
