APC Campaign Council commends Journalists, announces dates for Zonal rallies

The Plateau State All Progressive Congress
(APC), Campaign Council has commended Journalists in the state for a wonderful
coverage of the gubernatorial and Presidential flag-off in the state few weeks
ago and enjoined them to continue in that spirit stressing that the success of
the party in its second bid cannot be complete without the journalists.
Addressing a press conference at the Nigeria
Union of Journalists (NUJ) press centre Jos, this afternoon, some members of the
Council led by a veteran Journalist, Nde Jonathan Ishaku stated that the
Campaign Council which was inaugurated by His Excellency Rt. Hon Simon Bako
Lalong was aimed at his re-election bid adding that the Campaign Council
has under it eight Directorates and charged with the responsibility of
ensuring that the APC wins all the elections from the position of the
President, National Assembly, Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly
elections which will come up on the 16th February, 2019 and 2nd
March, 2019 respectively.
Ishaku announced that the launch of
the zonal Campaign comes up tomorrow (Friday) at Pankshin, the Zonal
Headquarter to the Plateau Central Zone by 11am with Venue at Pankshin
Mini-Stadium.
He further announced that this would be
followed by the Southern Zone at Shendam on Monday the
4th February, 2019 by 11:00 am with Venue at the Shendam Mini-Stadium

”We have come here this afternoon to seek
your support as partners in these crucial elections. Let it be said without
equivocation that His Excellency has very high regards and consideration for
the Media who have done a lot in propagating the activities of his
administration.
“The launch of the Campaign comes up tomorrow

Zone with Venue at Pankshin Mini-Stadium. This would be followed by the
Campaign launch for the Southern Zone at Shendam on Monday the 4th

“We request you to give the events the
maximum publicity they deserve.
We seize this opportunity to specially thank
and commend you for your wonderful coverage of the Gubernatorial and the
