Just in: Plateau ADP commends ABP for adopting its guber candidate; urges APC and other political parties to do same

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) Plateau state chapter has commended members of the All Blending Party (ABP) in the state under the leadership of Hon. Amak Raymond who the party said led members of the state working committee, leaders and EXCO members of the party across the state to the state Secretariat of the ADP yesterday to declare their total support for Gen. Jonathan Temlong, for the February 2019 gubernatorial election in the state

In a statement signed by the state Publicity Secretary of the ADP Hon. Danjuma Auta on behalf of the state acting Chairman of the party, Hon. Gideon Adamu and a copy made available to African Drum, reads
“On behalf of the acting chairman of our great party, the Action Democratic Party in Plateau State Mr Gideon Adamu, we wished to thank members of the All Blending Party (ABP) in Plateau state under the leadership of its chairman Hon. Amak Raymond who led members of the state working committee, state exco, LGA, Wards,Polling Units EXCOs and some leaders of their party to the state Secretariat of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Plateau state, to declare their unreserved support to our governorship candidate in the 2019 general election in the state, Brig. Gen. Jon Temlong and his Deputy Dr. Daniel Mwanmut, and their subsequent dumping and denouncing their membership of the All Blending Party in the state”.

The statement stated that the party was humbled by the giant step taken by the ABP and further commended members of the party for truly coming into terms with the reality of considering the interest of Plateau Project which is a resolved by all Plateau citizens to return the state to the part of honour and greatness.

According to the statement, “the ADP in Plateau state wishes to make it categorically clear that as a team, we would all work together to the realization of our vision for Plateau just as promised by the pilot of the Plateau First Project, Brig. Gen. Jon Temlong (rtd), that everyone would be carried along without any discrimination on bases of religious, ethnic or any differences” .

The ADP equally called on the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and other political parties in the state to also tore the line of the ABP for Temlong (through his marshaled plan) to take plateau to the Promised Land and further called on all ABP members in the 17 LGAs to locate the ADP offices across the state for documentation.

“We equally call on all other political parties including the ruling party in the state to take the part of honour by joining the moving plan of ' Join Us Make Plateau Secured Topnotch As We Rise Together' (JUMPSTART) under the Brigade Commander of Brig. Gen. Jon Temlong (rtd) in taking Plateau to the Promised Land. By this, we are equally calling on all ABP members in all the 17 LGAs to as a matter of urgency locate ADP offices for documentation please.” stated the statement.
