News: Tribunal refuses SAN’s application to dismiss 31 petitions filed by PDP

The Plateau State Local Government Elections
Petition Tribunal Sitting in Jos today refused the application by GS Pwul (SAN)
Counsel to All Progressive Congress (APC) to dismiss 31 petitions filed by the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Pwul had submitted that counsel to petitions
deliberately refused to comply with the order of the tribunal made on the 8th
of December, 2018 on filing of processes. However, in its ruling, the tribunal
observed that all the issues raised by the Senior Advocate were based on technicalities
and further held that all the petitions would treated based on merit in the
spirit of Justice and fairness.
