News: Court grants bail to 17 accused persons standing trial on alleged killing
of Gen. Idris Alkali

Plateau State has granted bail to 17 out of 28 accused persons standing trial
on their alleged involvement in the killing of General Idris Mohammed Alkali in
September 2018.
The accused persons were granted bail in the
sum N1,000,000.00 (One Million Naira) each and one surety each in like sum in addition to a community leader who will identify the accu. The matter was adjourned to January 20th
for ruling on the bail applications of the other 11 accused persons.
