Hon Timothy Golu, member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam in the House of Representatives, also the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the same position, has challenge his opponent on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Gagdi to a public media debate to enable the electorates have a fair ground and reason(s) to pick their choice for the seat, come 2019
Hon. Timothy Golu, who fielded answers to questions from Journalists through a telephone conversation this morning from London, said the National Assembly was not for boys but for matured people who know what performance and good representation is all about.

According to Hon. Golu, “The National Assembly is not a place for playboys and power hungry guys. It’s a place of responsibility for responsible people. Let him show his previous achievements and I show mine. I challenge him to a debate!”
You would recall that just last week,  Golu raised alarm alleging Gagdi was applying unconstitutional methods, prohibited by the Independent National Electoral Commission and the Nigerian Broadcasting codes for elections, to canvass for support for his bid.

Hon. Golu in an Exclusive Interview, with the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of REALITY Newspapers, Prince Valentine Adese at his residence in Jos last weekend, had alleged Hon Gadgi was already introducing religion to divide the people of the constituency and further using it to raise funds for his bid.
The Reps member said though he was not perturbed by the steps introduced by his opponent however cautioned that, “Yusuf Gagdi is introducing something that may lead to his own undoing.

“I am just giving this analogy so that you can understand that the man has not done anything. The only weapon, the only instrument, the only guide, the only hope he has, is to use religion to attract favour, to use religion as an instrument to penetrate the federal constituency but unknown to him that is his undoing.” Hon. Timothy Golu said in that interview.
