LALONG
LIED, HE HAS NOT COMPLETED ANY PROJECT – JOHNBULL SHEKARAU

A governorship aspirant
under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Hon.
Johnbull Tiemlong Shekarau recently said that Governor Simon Lalong lied when
he said that he has completed all the projects left by the immediate past
administration led by Senator Jonah David Jang.
Speaking to party stalwarts
at the PDP State Secretariat along Yakubu Gowon Way Jos after picking his
expression of interest and nomination form, Shekarau stated that the level of
decay of infrastructures in Plateau State has reached an alarming stage. He
state that the protects that were not completed during Jang tenure some of
which include Utonko bridge, Kugiya in Bukuru, Secretariat Junction to British
America Junction were still at the levels they were in 2015.
The aspirant added that
renovation work at Government Colleges Amper and Jengre were still at the
levels the immediate past government left it.
Shekarau further stated that
the state of public health institutions in Plateau is currently the worst in
the country. According to him, “ASTC that is supposed to bring wealth is no
longer in existence. I learnt that some of the equipments have been taken to
Taraba, Adamawa and Kaduna.”
The aspirant also debunked
the rumor making rounds that he is being sponsored by Governor Lalong saying it
was all propaganda aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
