MY AGENDA IS TO PROTECT THE INTEREST OF PLATEAU STATE – DAIKA

A Governorship aspirant under the
platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Rt. Hon. George Daika has said
that Plateau State needs a visionary leader with a strong heart who can secure
its freedom and build a state that can be the proud of all irrespective of
ethnic or religious affiliations.
Daika made this statement this
afternoon at the party secretariat while addressing party EXCO members of his
intention to run for the number one office in the state.
According to Daika, there is no
peace in Plateau State because people are driven out of their homes adding that
wherever you go in the state, there are orphans, widows, widowers as well as
IDP camps.
Consequently, Daika said, “you
need a leader who knows you and you also know him. You need a leader that
respects you. You need a leader that can protect the interest of Plateau State.
You need a leader that can secure your freedom and protect your interest.
George Daika is that person”. The aspirant said that he is not rich in terms of
material possession but very rich in terms of mass support by the people.
He expressed his confidence in
the Hon. DT Sango led EXCO and called on it to create a level playing ground
for all aspirants. He further said that he has so much respect for other aspirants
adding that he was willing to work with whoever emerges as winner after the
primaries.
In his response, the State PDP
Chairman Hon. D. T. Sango promised equal treatment to all aspirants and transparent
primary elections.
