JUST IN: SUSPECTS OF PLATEAU POGROM TO BE PROSECUTED IN JOS

The suspects arrested following killings in some communities in Plateau State will be prosecuted in Jos.
Gov Simon Bako Lalong stated this in Jos while receiving members of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on a condolence visit to him in government house Ray-field. Lalong who enumerated proactive steps taken so far to engender peace further called for prayers for the peace of the state.

Earlier in his speech, the National President, PFN, Rev. Dr. Felix Omobode said they were in the State to condole with the government and people of the state. Omobode strongly condemned the attack adding those involved in perpetrating the heinous crime and their sponsors must be arrested and prosecuted.
The PFN National President was accompanied by Bishop Francis Wale Oke, the Deputy President and Apostle Emmanuel Kure of Throneroom Ministry, amongst others.
