GOV LALONG CONDOLES VICTIMS OF FIRE
INCIDENT.

The Executive
Governor of Plateau State Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has condoled those
affected by the unfortunate fire incident that ravaged the satellite market
attached to the burnt Jos Main Market. The Governor in a message through the
state Commissioner of Information and Communication, Yakubu Dati described the
incident as unfortunate and coming at a time the state is already on the path
of recovery from recent challenges.

The fire
incident which occurred in the early hours of today did not affect any life but
ravaged goods and property.
The state
government said it is already acting on preliminary recommendations received
from a team of assessors who visited the site earlier stressing that It would remain
committed to its sacred responsibility of the protection of lives and property
as and urged the general public to observe safety precautions at all times.
