MANUMAR FOUNDATION
SPONSORS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

MANUMAR Foundation, a non-governmental
organisation has sponsored a Basketball tournament which kicked off yesterday
in Gindiri local government Area of Plateau State North-Central Nigeria.
Speaking to journalists before the
commencement of the first game between Dadin Kowa pillars and Pankshin
Warriors, Representative of MANUMAR Foundation, Yusuf Musa said the aim of the
tournament is to foster unity in Central Senatorial District in particular and
Plateau State in general.

Musa further said that the foundation
which is funded by Dr. Umar Ibrahim Mantu, son of the former Deputy Senate
President, Nasiru Mantu has been investing in different areas of humanity
through sports, education, health care delivery and community development among
others adding that the tournament will last for weeks.
