All things being equal, those whose funds have been trapped with Cash flow Network Ltd will heave a sigh of relieve as the company is set to give its investors their dues on or before the last day of September, 2017.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of Cashflow ABN Network Ltd and Time Micro-Finance Bank Dr. Philemon Ibrahim Gora in an exclusive chat with African Drum Magazine recently who further expressed concern over the suffering of investors over the years.
On his take on the decision of some investors who resorted to legal action, he said that it was in line with what is obtainable in democratic societies. According to him, whoever that seeks legal redress is a peaceful person adding that it was for the same reason that his company also approached the court when its account was frozen by a government agency.
He however, lamented the way and manner some judgments were delivered against his Company without being served some of which involved men of God. According to Gora, “I feel that men of God should know that if God wants to uplift you, He allows you to go through storm and the higher the storm, the greater your miracle. Everybody is aware that Cashflow has not crashed; it’s just that its account is frozen and we have taken the necessary steps including legal option to ensure that the issue is resolved. But as I said earlier, it is good for people to seek redress in a court of law. At least that shows that there was a transaction. Very soon, we will pay all our investors.
CashFlow is a loan investment company and has also been trading on Forex among other businesses for many years before its account with Diamond Bank PLC was frozen by EFCC which has made it impossible for the Company to have access to over N12billion in it. The development prompted the Company to approach the Court and sought legal redress and judgment was delivered in favour of the Company three years ago but all efforts by the judgment creditors to execute the judgment has been impeded further prompting the company to take the matter to the National Assembly and public hearing has been going on in the House of Representatives until the house went on recess. According to Gora, the discussion at the National Assembly involving all other government agencies was very successful and as soon as the House resumes, the discussion will be rounded up and the company will have access to its account. He called on the government to reconsider some of its drastic decisions capable of discouraging patriotic Nigerians with good ideas and resources wishing to contribute to our nation.
