According to Police report, Mr. Orji got married to Stella in 2008 and the couple are blessed with three children. Orji is said to have made the wife and two of his children directors of his company and the wife is on salary of N4.5million per annum. The report has it that sometimes in July 2015, Orji started noticing strange behaviours from his wife regarding the family business and life, more especially her relationship with the said Doctor Owoicho whom she previously introduced to him as a family doctor while he was away to Imo State for two years attending to matters of the Imo Branch of the Company.

Further findings by the Police show that while Mr. Orji was away to Imo State, his wife, who was in charge of the Jos Branch of the Company took advantage of her husband’s absence to raise a forged Board Resolution and used same to opened a separate bank account in First Bank in the name of the Company and the sole signatory of that account and made series of lodgement and withdrawals at will without the consent of her husband, a development that led to the collapse of the Jos Branch of the Company and subsequent retrenchment of workers.

The report further shows that on 14th April, 2016, Mrs. Stella Orji withdrew the sum of N29million from the First Bank account but she told the Police that she was defrauded of same by fraudsters. However, she did not report either to the Police or her husband. Investigation by the Police however, traced the N29million to her Ecobank account where it is alleged to have been deposited by Dr. Owoicho.

She is also alleged to have made transfer of the sum of N5million to Dr. Owoicho and confessed to have bought a N9million plot of land in FCT Abuja without the consent of her husband. On the N5million transfer, she agreed to have transferred the amount to Dr. Owoicho in tranches of N2million for opening of Choco Condiments Nig. Ltd staff file in his hospital (Elroi Mission Hospital Jos) and N3million for him to run an errand for her in Abuja.

She further stated that all her personal businesses were carried out without the knowledge of her husband because according to  her, the money involved in her personal businesses does not belong to him but proceeds from her business of buying and selling Gold Jewelleries’ and foreign currencies. It is however said that she could not remember the names, phone number or addresses of any of her customers. She was also said to be unable to make comment regarding the N12million land agreement she entered into with one Alhaji Abdulazeez which she made part payment of N6million to him for a plot of land behind St. Murumba College, Jos with Dr. Owoicho as witness; the N26.1million that she withdrew from Zenith Bank Plc on 6th May, 2016; the N40million she deposited into the account of Elroi Mission Hospital belonging to Dr. Owoicho; and another N5million to one Favour Okoli Adaora on 6th May, 2016.

It is further alleged that the plot of land purchased behind St. Murumba College Jos was for Dr. Owoicho to build his hospital.
