Presidency 2023: Nigeria needs Tambuwal, he has been tried with Leadership and not found wanting - Sen. Ogbeha

Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, PDP Presidential Aspirant

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto and frontline Presidential Aspirant under the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP is said to be only credible person that has all it takes to lead the country in a manner that would take her of the present predicament.

This submission was by the Director-General (DG) of Tambuwal Campaign organization, Sen. Tunde Ogbeha in Jos the Plateau State capital while addressing Delegates at the State party Secretariat along Yakubu Gowon way Jos.
According to the DG, Tambuwal has been tried, tested before now and has never been found wanting in any way. "Tambuwal is somebody who has been enthrusted with leadership and has not disappointed and would not disappoint if Plateau delegates vote for him at next convention".

Ogbeha added that security was number priority on Tambuwal's agenda and if he is eventually given the mandate to lead the country, would tackle insecurity across the country headlong to the extend that peace would be revived and farmers would go to their farms without hindrances.
He said that the Presidential Aspirant has a lot of good programs for the country but would be unfolded as time goes on.

The DG further said, "Of all the aspirant, who are also capable of being the President of this country, I believe Tambuwal is the most capable.

"He is young, he carries himself with decorum and is always accessible as well as having respect for everyone. So, we are here to solicit for your support of delegates to the next PDP convention on May 28 & 29, 2022".

In his response, the Chairman of the PDP in Plateau State, Hon. Chris Adukuchili Hassan acknowledged the quality of Tambuwal and choice of those he has selected to work in the campaign team, most especially the DG, Sen. Ogbeha. "It behoves on us who are delegates from Plateau State to have a second thought considering Sen. Ogbeha who came to Plateau, spent four months and stabilized the party in the state. And for that reason, it is said that one good turn deserves another".

"Again, you remember that during our trying moments when some people were hellbent on destabilizing our party, Gov Tambuwal stood by us.

"I also recall when we were at the National convention to elect our National leaders, he was the only Governor who came to assist us with accomadation and other things.

"Remember also that Tambuwal also came to our rescue during the Bye-Election for Jos North Bassa Federal Constituency which saw the flag bearer of our party, Hon. Musa Agah winning".

The Chairman further posited that the PDP was looking for a leader and a true Nigeria to be President irrespective of which zone he or she comes from. "It is for this reason that we opened up the Presidency for every Nigerian during our last NEC meeting so that the quality of every person would speak for them".
