Quaan Pan Council Boss warns locals
against flouting total lockdown Order

The
Executive Chairman of Quaan Pan Local Government Council, Hon. Isaac Kyale
Kwallu has urged the people of the local government areas to adhere strictly to
the lockdown order warning that any act of resistance by individuals or groups
will not be tolerated. A statement by the Senior Special Assistant Media and
Publicity to the Executive Chairman, Mathias Yengoet Danjam quoted the Chairman
saying that the Task Force Committee on COVID-19 in the locality, under his
leadership will ensure total compliance to the Total Lockdown Order; pronounced
by the Governor of the State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong.
The statement added that Kwallu, while commending
the steps taken by the Federal and State governments towards containing the
pandemic, urged citizens to continue to support particularly Governor Lalong's
pro-activeness in avoiding the record of the COVID-19 in the State. The
Chairman was further said to have appealed to the people of Quaan Pan to comply
with the directive which is part of measures to contain the spread of Corona
Virus in the State.
He assured
that the Divine Mandate Administration in the locality will continue to support
initiatives that are geared towards controlling the spread of the virus in the
state. The Chairman who admonished that the order and the fumigation is for the
good of all, however warned that any act of resistance by individuals or groups
will never be tolerated.
