Members of Chip Community in Pankshin South Local Government Area of Plateau State, North Central Nigeria have commended the patriotic posture of comrade Shamdung Ayuba Jepla in his efforts aimed at bringing unity and forging a common front for the people of Mhiship Chiefdom irrespective of political affiliations.

Consequent upon this, stakeholders across party lines were unanimous in their support for him if desires any political office come 2023. Speaking during one of the meetings convened by Comrade Jepla on Wednesday, 1st January, 2020 and attended by Chairmen of various political parties from all the wards, elders, Community leaders, student Union leaders as well as members of various political parties, the party chairman particularly expressed their pleasure and appreciation to Comrade Jepla for convening the meeting stressing that it was the first time such a meeting was held aimed at creating a common political front for the community irrespective of political lineage which they believed would give the Mship nation the needed strength to aspire for any position within the political space in Nigeria.

An elder in one of the political parties, Tangsan Paksokot described Jepla's initiation as a demonstration of patriotism and called on all members of Chip community to accord Comrade Jepla the desired support whenever he aspires for any political position.
In like manner, Hon. Pefun Joshua Ndom, Commissioner for Enlightenment, Plateau Independent Electoral Commission ( PLASIEC ), extolled his virtues saying that it was Jepla's spirit of dedication, hard work and loyalty  that prompted him to appoint Jepla as his personal Aide when he was a leader of Legislative Arm of Pankshin Local Government Council in 2003. 
Theophilus Dawus and Comrade Kenneth Dawus, National President of Mhship Youth Movement (MYM),  President,  National Association of Mhship Students (NAMS) respectively took a common position in their submissions when they said that as progressive, they would support the political aspiration of Comrade Shamdung Jepla in 2023 if he so desires.

In their contributions, Women Leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) all commended the effort of Comrade Jepla describing him as grassroot mobilizer.
Speaking earlier, Comrade Shamdung AyubaJepla a unionist and currently, the National Auditor of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees ( NULGE) said that the clarion call for political unity in Mship land was necessary adding that without unity, there can never be development. He further called on all Mhship sons and daughters to form a common front irrespective of political parties for the common good of the community. In conclusion, comrade Jepla promised to stand for the people of Chip community at all times. The occasion which was well attended had both serving and former councilors.
