Eid- el- Kabir: Muslim Ummah appreciates Tallen as Baba Hassan
extols her virtues.

in Jos have expressed delight with Dame Pauline Tallen, minister designate from
Plateau state over her gesture to the Ummah for this year Sallah
celebration.
Tallen is said to
have distributed Rams and food stuff to the Ummah worth millions of naira for
the celebration. The Sallah festival is the second of the Muslim holidays
celebrated world- wide each year. The celebration is in honour of the
willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son, Isma'il as an act of
submission to God's ( Allah) command.
Mrs Tallen's
gesture is said to have come as a surprise to the Ummah as it was least
expected. Speaking on behalf of the Ummah, Hon. Ibrahim Baba Hassan,
appreciated Tallen's gesture and described her as a brave heart and an advocate
of peace who has lived all her live pursuing peaceful ventures. The member
representing Jos North/North, in the Plateau state House of Assembly further
called on all Muslim faithful to use the occasion to pray for good leadership
and peaceful coexistence among different ethnic nationalities in the country.
