Buhari
arrives Jos Saturday for the flag-off of Presidential campaign

President Muhammadu Buhari would be in Jos, the
Plateau state capital on Saturday the 19th of January 2018 in
continuation of his campaign tour.
This was revealed during a press conference by the Chairman,
main Planning Committee of the official flag-off of the Presidential Campaign of
President Muhammadu Buhari, who is also the deputy Governor of Plateau state,
Prof. Sonni Tyoden in Jos this afternoon.
Tyoden restated
the commitment of governor Simon Bako Lalong, who doubles as the gubernatorial
candidate of the party as well as the coordinator of the Presidential Campaign
Organization in Plateau State to thank the media and assured that the All
Progressive Congress (APC) was in high spirit and ready to receive its Presidential
flag-bearer on Saturday at the Rwang Pam Stadium, venue of the rally.
“As you are all aware, the presidential flag-bearer
of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, President Muhammadu
Buhari would be in Plateau State, 19th January, 2019 in continuation
of his campaign tour.
The president has campaigned in some states of the
federation. His visit to Plateau would afford him the opportunity to once
again, seek your vote come 16th February, 2019 when we shall be
going to the polls to cast our votes for him as well as all other candidates of
the APC vying for National Assembly elections.
“As usual, we are expecting a large gathering of
party faithful from all the 17 local government areas of the state. Conscious
of the expectation of his coming, all other arrangements including security
(before and after) the grand rally are in top gear”, said Tyoden.
He further
stated that President Buhari would be accompanied by the cream of the party
leadership which include; Bola Tinubu, who is the leader of the party and c0-
chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council, Adams Oshiomhole, the national
Chairman of the party, Rotimi Ameachi, the Director- General of the Buhari
Campaign Organization and a host of other party stalwarts and Governors.
Consequently,
Tyoden said they were looking forward to the media for maximum coverage of
the visit and a robust working relationship in the task of developing the state
to the envy of all.
