APC to receive decampees from PDP on Friday.

The official commencement of campaign for the re-election bid of Rt. Hon
Simon Lalong comes up on Friday, the 4th of January, 2018 at the
Rwang Pam memorial Stadium Jos.
This was disclosed by the state chairman of the ruling All
Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Latep Dabang during a press briefing in Jos
today. Highlights of the event according to Latep would be the receiving of
decampees from the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) and
other political parties.
According to Latep, “The Plateau state All Progressives Congress
APC, has been working tirelessly with a view to putting in place a credible
campaign council.
“Friday’s event is therefore expected to bring together the
entire APC family from across the 17 local government areas of the state as
well as the nation which we will best describe as going to be epochal and
groundbreaking.
“Conscious of this responsibility, we have therefore come to
intimate you on what is expected to happen. Specifically, the party will be
playing host to a large number of dignitaries, including the national chairman
of the party, HE comrade Adams Oshiomhole who is expected to receive a large
number of decampees from the main opposition party, the people’s democracy
party, PDP, as well as other political parties”.
Latep stated that the official commencement of the campaign
for the re-election bid of governor Lalong was a collective task that must be
done in order to consolidate on his record time achievements and move the state
forward to the next level.
The Party Chairman further solicited maximum cooperation
from the media for effective coverage and a robust working relationship in the
task of developing Plateau state to the envy of all.
