PDP allegedly training people in Dubai
to rig elections in 2019 - Sani

The
Chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Jos North Local Government
Area, Hon. Mohammed Sani Gangare has alleged that the main opposition, the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has picked different categories of people from
various Local Government Areas across the country and are currently undergoing
training in Dubai, United Arab Emirate purposely to rig for it the general
elections in 2019.
The
APC LGA Chairman made this allegation in an exclusive chat with African Drum on
Saturday. According to him, “we learnt they are strategizing in Dubai. They have
picked people of different categories in all the Local Government across the
country strategizing in Dubai. Why Dubai and not here? How can you manage over
500 people in a hotel in Dubai for one month? If you look at the whole thing,
it’s a fraud. They are strategizing to come and rig the elections but we are
here for them. We are ready to face them and to make sure that Buhari and
Lalong win again.”
On
his advice to the electorates, Sani uged them to compare the 16 years of the
PDP in government and the 3 years of the APC and contrasts stressing that even
the current peaceful atmosphere in Plateau State in particular and Nigeria in
general is enough reason for the people to re-elect Buhari and Lalong.
Speaking
further, he said “basically, Jos North is an APC controlled Local Government.
Even when the PDP was in power, we were able to not only defeat the PDP but we
defeated them woefully, and in 2019, we will defeat the PDP again. In 2015,
Lalong got 117,000 votes but in 2019; he will get 250,000 votes.” He said
He
stated that politics is all about crisis management; consequently, the party at
the Local Government level experienced some challenges but was tackled
effectively.
