RESTORATION OF
KADARKO CHIEFDOM IS A CONFIRMATION OF ITS INDEPENDENCE – BANCIR

The restoration of Kadarko chiefdom in Wase Local Government
Area of Plateau state with a second class status has been described as a
confirmation of its independence and further exposed the community to the
outside world.
This was the submission of comrade Jibrin Bancir, a Southern
Zone Senatorial aspirant under the platform of the All Progressive Congress
(APC) recently in Jos. Bancir who spoke to journalists immediately after the
meeting of stakeholders of the party at Eliel Centre on Thursday, added that
celebration was still going on at that moment in Kadarko one week after the
announcement.
He commended Governor Lalong for his foresight in creating
and restoring chiefdoms across the states which has uplifted the status and
further given independence to these communities.
“You will be amazed if you see the celebration going on in
Kadarko even at this moment. This is what we have been waiting for, for quite a
long time. The restoration of Kadarko chiefdom is what the people have been
expecting for long. With the restoration, it has further given independence and
further exposed the people to the outside world”. He said.
On his chances of winning the Senatorial seat, Bancir said
he has worked so hard and gained the trust and confidence of the people and
stand a better chance to win. He however, believed that leadership comes from
God. He however said that going by human standard and measurement, he deserves
to win because he has worked hard and did very well.
He further stated that time has changed stressing that the
constituents needed a vibrant, energetic and intelligent youth to represent
them and not just anybody that would be sleeping at the National Assembly. “We don’t
want retirees, because we are tired of retirees. We need service delivery and
because that, the people need a person that has the capacity to deliver” Bancir
said.
