BWALBONG OLD STUDENTS SET TO ELECT NEW EXCO

Bwalbong Old Students Association held its congress meeting in Jos today. Highlight of the meeting was the election of five person electoral committee to conduct election to usher in new Exco in three months time. 

In his opening remarks, the president of the Association, Hon Iliya Dutse welcomed members and expressed his appreciation for their untiring efforts toward the success of the Association.
The President enumerated some of the achievements of his Exco to include, the registration of the Association with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), provision of motorized borehole to the school, frequent consultations with traditional and community leaders in Gindiri Community 9where the school is located) which has resulted in increase of students’ enrolment and improvement in payment of school fees, provision of vigilante for the school and constant visits and collection of data from the school Principal.

Dutse said that they have also visited the state government on the need to improve the standard of the school saying that has yielded positive result as the school now has more teachers than before in addition to infrastructures.

The meeting was well attended with very important personalities included the District Head of Gindiri, His Royal Highness Tanko Adamu.
The electoral committee has Mrs. Salome Raphael as Chairman while Hanatu Gagara, Felix Langkup, Christopher Awang and Yirvomp Chaman are members.
