The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been described as the best political party not only in Nigeria but in the whole of Africa. This was the submission of an aspirant for Plateau Central Senatorial Zone, David Shikfu parradang at the Plateau State Secretariat of the PDP today.
Parradang said this while addressing state EXCO of the PDP at the party Secretariat in Jos to formally declare his intention for the Senatorial seat.
He said that the party was well positioned more than ever before to take over power from the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, come 2019.  “Mr Chairman, Some people stole our precious products and the time has come to reclaim our stolen products. Count me as one of the candidates that you can rely on to pursue and over take to recover our stolen products.”
He commended the State Chairman of the PDP; Hon. Damishi Sango for his high degree of commitment, integrity and doggedness; qualities that have made him stood his ground in the face of multiple challenges and withered the storm.

Parradang further commended the state Chairman for standing solid behind Senator Jonah Jang in his on-going trial and for conducting a free, fair and credible party primary in the state and promised to be completely loyal to the party and to the Chairman to ensure the success of the party at all levels. He called on members of the PDP to close ranks and work in harmony for the progress of the party and should not allow minor differences keep them apart.
The aspirant also called on the party Chairman to treat all aspirants equally.
Responding, Sango described paradang as an experienced man and attributed the success, the high level of unity and cohesion achieved by the party to all the Exco members.
The Chairman said that the party would create a level playing ground for all the aspirants. Consequently, he said the party primary elections would be free, fair and credible.
Sango advised the entire aspirants to work hard and reach out to all the delegates. He further urged them to caution their supporters to avoid the use of foul language stressing that party primary election is an internal affair.
He expressed disenchantment over the attitude of some politicians that were elected under the platform of the PDP but decided to betray the confidence of the people by decamping to other political parties.
Consequently, the mandate they have now according to Sango is stolen mandate.

He further expressed disappointment for the inability of Governor Lalong to conduct Local Government elections stressing that Plateau State is the only state in the Federation that has not conducted Local Government elections.
The Chairman also re-iterated that the PDP has zoned its governorship to Southern zone and called on party faithful to work hard so as to take over power from the APC adding that President Buhari has failed woefully.
